A Busy Start To 2024 For OrganiLock

2024 is shaping up to be a busy, transformational year for OrganiLock. We started it the best way we know how: in the field, talking soil with the growers who put our products to work. Here is where we have been so far.

At the Kentucky Fruit & Vegetable Conference

We kicked off the year with a booth at the Kentucky Fruit & Vegetable Conference, the state's gathering for commercial fruit and vegetable growers. It was the perfect room for our message: most products feed the plant, while Soil Food feeds the living soil underneath it.

We sent growers home with Soil Food samples to try on their own ground, and the response was exactly what we hoped for. A soil-first approach keeps proving to be an idea whose time has come, and we cannot wait to hear how everyone's sample plots turn out, before-and-after photos included.

Talking soil with Master Gardeners

OrganiLock co-founder Scott Laskowski was also invited to speak at the Fall Creek Garden Club in Indianapolis. He walked the group through the thinking behind Soil Food and how a soil-first approach supports bigger, healthier plants. Some of the best questions came from experienced composters, who saw Soil Food as a faster, complementary way to rebuild soil biology. From conference floors to garden clubs, the throughline is the same: feed the soil, and it feeds everything else. We are just getting started in 2024, and we are excited to help more growers, from backyard beds to commercial fields, build soil that works.
