OrganiLock Receives AG Innovation Award

OrganiLock has been honored with the Agricultural Innovation Award from the Hopkins County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Presented in Madisonville, Kentucky with a representative from Tyson Foods on hand, the award recognizes OrganiLock's work on one of agriculture's most stubborn problems: depleted soil.

A different way to rebuild soil

OrganiLock's flagship product, Soil Food, stood out for taking a soil-first path rather than leaning on conventional nitrate-based inputs. Most products feed the plant. Soil Food feeds the living soil underneath it, helping rehabilitate tired ground and rebuild the biology that holds water and cycles nutrients. It is designed to work alongside what growers already do, from backyard beds to small farms to industrial-scale operations.

Turning waste into living soil

The recognition also reflects how OrganiLock makes its products. At its Madisonville facility, OrganiLock turns organic material that would otherwise go to waste, including byproducts from local poultry farms, into a concentrated soil food. Fittingly, a Tyson poultry farmer was in the room as the award was presented.

In Scott's words

"We are incredibly honored to receive the AG Innovation Award," said Scott Laskowski, President and Founder of OrganiLock. "This recognition is a testament to the growing market demand for sustainable soil solutions that work. It's easy really, feed the soil!"

What's next

OrganiLock continues to work with growers and partners to put soil-first farming to the test in real fields. Curious where to start? Explore Soil Food or dig into the free OrganiLock Academy.
